Master Johnny B. Kelly has 18 years experience in the fighting art form of Tnag Soo Do under the leadership of Master Darnell Leak of Greenwood, South Carolina. Master Kelly holds several national titles and one world title. He placed second (silver medal) fighting in the United States Moo Duk Kwan Federation National Championship in 1985. He also holds several titles in the International Tang Soo Do Federation, including: heavy weight fighting champion 1987, 1991, and in 1993 he was the overall Grand Champion, nationally.

Master Kelly is presently recognized by the Korean - American Tang Soo Do Federation as a 4th Degree Black Belt and Certified Instructor. The federation is headed by President and Grandmaster Sung Kuk Cho with headquarters in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
